Comprehensive Reading System (A1–C2)
I would like to suggest adding a comprehensive reading system to the app, covering all levels from A1 to C2 and providing a large variety of reading content and activities.
The feature could include:
A complete reading library organized by CEFR levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2.
A very large and continuously expanding collection of reading materials.
Different types of content, including stories, dialogues, articles, news, conversations, everyday situations, educational texts, culture, fiction, non-fiction, and real-world content.
Different text lengths, from very short beginner texts to long and advanced articles and stories.
Graded reading content specifically adapted to each level.
Authentic reading materials for higher levels to help learners transition from learner content to real-world language.
Clear difficulty progression within each level, from easier to more challenging texts.
The ability to tap any word to see its meaning, pronunciation, translation, and example sentences.
The ability to save unfamiliar words and add them to the user’s vocabulary/review system.
Optional translations that users can show or hide.
Audio for reading materials, with synchronized sentence-by-sentence or word-by-word highlighting.
Reading comprehension questions and interactive exercises after each text.
Vocabulary exercises based on the words used in the reading.
Reading speed and comprehension tracking.
Progress tracking showing completed texts, reading level, vocabulary learned, and overall reading progress.
Filters for level, topic, length, difficulty, and content type.
A personalized reading path that gradually takes the learner from A1 → A2 → B1 → B2 → C1 → C2.
A large amount of content at every level so users can practice reading continuously without quickly running out of material.
The goal would be to make reading a complete learning system inside the app, rather than simply adding a small collection of texts.
